In here you will find images of homo sapiens

Urban

This gallery contains images of cities, towns and anything remotely urban

Atgets Paris

Here are some images I shot in Paris in July 2010 - a homage to Atget\'s images of the city in the early 1900s

Mount St Josephs

This building was once an orphanage then a childrens home - recently vacated, it was strangely empty but seemingly full of the memory of recent life, like a Marie Celeste with walls and a roof

Objects

Speaks for itself really - from still life to details

Other

If it doesnt fit in any of the above, this is where it goes

Lisbon

Some images of a trip to Lisbon. I loved its faded glory, like a has-been film star.

A very still Life

A panel of images of still life subjects I\'m currently working on

About Me

Welcome to my site. My name is Mark McGranaghan and I live in Passage West, just outside Cork city on the south coast of Ireland. While I take most of my photographs in my locality and surrounding areas, you'll also find images here taken on trips to the UK, Europe and US. Please check out the site and be sure to revisit as I'll be regularly updating my blog and my galleries. If you want to comment on images, purchase prints or commision me to do some work (weddings, events, portraits, locality shots, articles, etc) then please contact me.

Many thanks to Willie Kiely for holding my hand through putting this site together and making it a painless and enjoyable experience. Check him out on his WebSpace
